and the average MPG it usually gets
and the driver.. if a speed demon more gas consumption is used

Are you driving a vehicle that gets 15 mpg or 30 mpg ?
That old American made cruiser will cost you about $400 , a newer high efficiency compact will be about $200 ( each way ) .
Although with the spike in prices , I would not be surprised to see the return of the 'midnight auto' crooks siphoning tanks . (which will increase your $$$ spent on gas !)
Do not fill up when you get to your motel at nite, fill up the next morning before you leave .

NEED TO KNOW THE MILEAGE OF YOUR CAR and how many gallons of gas your car holds. If you have an SUV then you'll probably have to fill up every 3 to 5 times.

That depends on the milage you get on your car, once you get into LA gas prices go up considerably, so prepare yourself. Have fun
