What does it matter? The words will never show the "You" I've come to know.
If I could spend time in a bottle I would think deeply about it, but (oops that's croce and the other was Bread)....well off to find some yeast in a bottle.

Michelangelo Divinci ( Lack of Photo and Tele) Rembrant and all the great artist
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder use of math and graphic mesurements to cover cracks in the wall and great halls and being particular to anatomy in use of human body to the use of objects in shadow and shading anyone with time and a photographic eye and a exact recall can be the artist and pick up brilliant cool colors and glass grounded in the paint pigment to create some of the great masterpieces and put in a hidden zinger or two...VanGoe cut off his ear because of the critics of his work...
Many died poor and pennyless for the art
Some studied marble cutting and statue making
So Yes in religious art the idea is for the layman to believe sight unseen but to put it on the level of if you could see God or if you could see the characters of the Bible you could see yourself...and note on lack of education we come into the limits and the greatest agreement that the basic Holy family and the Apostles walked among us as mere men and coach you to understand even as a child being unable to read just note the stories behind the pictures...1700's English...that
it is possible the culture can be seen good like yourself...and you can identify with the family and take the whole scene in and influence your faith....
Even with or without words....
I hope this helps God Bless

The artist.Whom ever they may be.
I know you were like trying to be clever n stuff, but....
If the artist paints what he/she sees.......then they don't have to try and explain in grave detail what they see in their head...it's right in front of you.In the picture....easier than saying a thousand words.
And it's if a picture is WORTH a thousand words
