I noticed when Imus said something that was supposedly racist, he got into a mess of trouble. But has anyone seen the South Park episode The Niggerguy? They said ni/gger over 50 times on that episode but it didn't cause such a ranting. So if Imus was a cartoon character do you think he would get into as much trouble?

When they said it, did they say it about young college women?

There is a context to think about. Many movies have all kinds of swearing by white people...does that mean you can go to work and refer to your bosses family with those words?
Enough said.

I agree. I do not understand why the African-American community considers comments in one context to be offensive, whereas the same comments in a different context are not offensive. The should either be offended by the comments in all contexts or in no context at all. I do not think they can have it both ways.
