I hate to stir up trouble, but am just curious...Would a white person be able to attend a black college? If so, cool. If not, why not? Isn't that a "racist" thing to do?

I wonder how many people would cry FOUL if I opened a "white" college? I personally think it's racism either way. What my ancestors did is done. Yes, some people are still discriminated against, but not like back in the day. I am NOT racist, I hate everyone the same. No one should be entitled to priveledges for something that happened 2 generations ago.

One of my ex boyfriends attended Southern University in Louisiana for a semester (he was too late in applying for LSU). He said he and some other girl were the only 2 white people in the school.

I don't know why we still have black colleges. I would think that all colleges are open to anyone who qualifies academically, and has the money to attend.

a black college is called a black college because it was founded by someone who is african american and a majority of its students are african american. They are just like any other college and they accept all races.
