I first thought of ending world hunger but then I figured you could be full and still living in poverty.

make everyone (no exceptions) have to tell the honest truth all the time always. This will save the world. Imagine asking another country "are you going to use that nuke?" and they have to tell the truth...you wouldn't have to wonder if your "other" was cheating...or if your boss really thought you were worth that raise...just ask.
