i know part of the hormonal changes in pregnancy make us think some strange things i dont know how to make mine stop there are no basis for these thoughts i seem to be overly concerned about my bf looking for other women( no basis the man loves me and does whatever he can for me to make me happy and feel loved), that the most important people in my life are going to have some horrible accident, that there is some major issue with my baby. THERE IS NO REASON FOR ANY OF THESE THOUGHTS! i know crazy thoughts are somewhat normal any ideas how to put my mind at ease?

I was the same way! I was so paranoid about my husband leaving me (because I got so "fat") I would think why would he want to be with me, when he could get a knockout! I would cry If he would be 5 minutes late coming home from work! lol
the thing that would always set my mind at ease and always made me feel great was my husband telling me that he would never want any other girl but me, and that he thinks I'm beautiful and a "hot mama"! and I would just focus on how much he loves me. as for the paranoia that something could be wrong with your baby really every mom goes through that; I coped with it by praying a lot and getting 3 ultrasounds!! lol

hey whatever works right!?!?

oh Honey! I wish I had some magical way to help you! I've never been pregannat but I am a chronic worrier! lol So I kinda know what you feel. I suggest just talking your feelings out with your loving BF. Tell him... I know its silly but I have been feeling sacred and paranoid for a while and I want your support while I try to overcome these feelings, so if I seem a little upset don't take it the wrong way. I am sure he will try to help as best he can. As far as everything else goes I would give yourself a pampering session. Go get a massage or a facial and try to relax your worries away.

Good Luck and Congratulations on your pregnancy! ;-)

You're right; it's crazy normal! I had dreams I was sleeping with different men every night, but Lord knows that wouldn't happen! Rest assured that you will get past it, and when the baby is born, the thoughts will go away. Spend more intimate time with your boyfriend and you will know that you're all he wants! Take care!

EAT AND PRAY Lol. Those are just some of the symptoms. Many Women have worst thoughts than that so just ask him to spend more time with you. And eating will make you feel better. Well at least it did for me!

GOOD LUCK BOO!

Whenever I would start thinking like that....(And I had plenty of reasons to think my man was going to leave me..But he never did..It has been 6 years now.) I would just try to focus on the baby coming, and think about names or the color I wanted to nursery, or I would go somewhere to get my mind off of bad things...Other than that, just tell yourself you are pregnant and overreacting to everything. Switching your train of thought to something else is the best thing to do though.
