I think that she had the oppurtunity for a decent career, since her child hit in "Parent Trap," but since then personal scandals have caused her to go down the tubes. Movie directors hire controversial people, but Lindsay has ticked off enough people to keep that from happening much any more.
Although, according to Jay Leno, she's in a new movie, as a lesbian.

she wants too much attetention. everybody wants attention, but she wants too much. she in order to get attention, she makes fake controversy which really makes me upset because it's ridiculous to watch.
