I'm 17 weeks pregnant and experiencing cramping. I thought maybe I ate soething wrong but wanted to see if others have had cramping later in their pregnancy. I had some when I was 6-8 weeks.

I have been and im 18 weeks....I called to make sure it was ok and they just tell me my body is stretching every way it can so expect some pain...lol. I get crampy if I eat too much as well. I even had really sharp pains on my left side. Some of it could be gas, some of it stretching, and some could even be the baby moving. But I'm sure you know if you start bleeding or the pain gets worse get yourself to a hospital or your Dr. Good luck and congrats!

There are allot of reasons for cramping.. Your stomach is stretching out, gas, or you could even have an infection. During my second semester I had lots of cramping, but I just had gas. During pregnancy your body does slow down and it takes longer to digest.. Make sure you stay away from spicy foods that can irritate your stomach.
You might want to go to the doctors to get checked out to make sure you and your baby is okay...

This is normal. But if a bothersome to you, get it checked out when you have your appt. All it is is your uterus stretching. Especially if you are a petite woman. You will feel this A LOT more than a woman who is bigger. I started to experience this when i was about 15 weeks. I am a small woman, so any stretching i can feel.. But if it does not feel right to you, get checked out by your ob. As long as there is no bleeding, its usually normal.

When I had my first girl my OB told me that is OK to have pain only if you are not bleeding. Your uterus is growing and the baby is trying to make some space. I still recommend you to tell your OB is better being paranoid than sorry. But don't worry babe, everything is going to be OK with you and your baby :)
