I will, but the Republicans have some explaining to do with Bush's permanent VA budget cuts. I have the sources right here:

I support our Troops 100% what I don't support is this war. I happen to deliver explosvies to the United States Military here in America. I have talked to men and women whom have been to Iraq or should I say hell and back. What the American People need to know is that we will never win this war as long as it is being controlled by the President and Congress. Our Men and Women, Brothers and Sisters, Husbands and Wives are dying because they were sent into a war with their hands tied. Sit down and speak to someone who has been on the front lines. I did just last week. If someone is coming at him with a knife, gun or car he has to follow 12 steps thats correct 12 steps before he is allowed to raise his weapon and shoot. He is supposed to engage this person and question him on his intent. Hell, this is a War what do you think his intent is. It is to kill our soldier. Like it or not that is what War is about. So while our guy is busy asking questions their guy is busy shooting, stabbing or running him over with a car. I have also spoken to troops who say that they don't have the right equipment (safety, weapons etc) to fight this war, There was an incident recently at a base I delivered to the guy (sgt) was visiably upset when asked what was wrong he admited that he received a letter from his best friend in Iraq. His friend wrote that he was quite scarred that his unit did'nt have enough safety equipment and he didn't think that he was going to make it home in one piece or alive, This Sgt. secretly ordered what his friend needed and mailed USPS so that his friend could be protected,. So, do I support the troops, Yes anyone who puts their life on the line for me I support and will welcome home with open arms. Do I support the leaders of our country,. No,

Loyalty to your country is not measured in such myopic terms. At least true loyalty isn't measured that way. It also ignores the question if what is in the best interests of Iraq. We may reach a point where we decide that it's better if we leave while the Iraqi's try to resolve their internal issues. If that were the case then we would have to do what is right and not cling on to a false concept of victory.

There isn't any defeat. I have always supported the troops. I have always been against this BS war in Iraq. Two distinct differences.
Lots of lies about people spitting on troops too. It happened very rarely. Not to condone such a moronic act, but it seems the conservatives do less to support our troops than any party has done in our history.
A magnetic sticker on your car doesn't make a soldier safe or supported.

No matter how the troops come home from Iraq, they are not coming home in defeat. Each one is a hero, and each one did exactly what the country called upon them to do.

Yes, without the troops there is no America.
The commander-in-chief is responsible for the bonehead decision to invade Iraq. The troops have no say.
Anyone who does not support the troops should be exported.
Anyone who does not want the US to be successful in Iraq needs to leave.
Signed,
A non-Republican (or, as the conservatives say "A Liberal")

I don't see that they will ever know defeat.
Take Vietnam for instance; even though we lost that war to communism, still the men who fought and died there can never be seen as losers in any way, shape or form.
God bless our brave troops and as far as I am concerned they will always be the winners because of their courage, integrity, and bravery.
It is not loyalty to my country per se, but common decency and right thinking that tells me these soldiers are winners.

True loyalty means not assuming that our troops will be defeated. If the troops came back from Iraq, regardless of winning or losing, i would be waiting at the door for them, cheering. Those people out there are dying for us every day, fighting for us every day, winning battles for us everyday, and all you can do is sit there and say "will you support them when they lose?".

Well, I disagree about your definition of "true measure of loyalty to your country".
Unfortunately, whether we win or lose in iraq won't be determined on the field of conflict, it will be determined in congress and for political benefit to politicians.
I will support the sacrifice and honor of our troops regardless of what the people in washington decide politically.
Our troops have the will and the ability to win the battle of iraq. Their biggest impediment to accomplishing that goal is liberal congressmen that DON'T have the will or ability to win.
It is very sad indeed.

Without a DOUBT! They will return home true American hero's! Dem's are already shouting that they will never "cut funding" to our troops...and this is something they have been threatening for a while now...and you know why that is? The whole "we wont' cut funds" thing? Because Pelosi's trip did much more than diplomacy, it FINALLY opened the eyes to our democratically elected politicians who are so vested in defeat, that victory is not the ONLY answer but that it is actually ACHIEVABLE!
