I have a concern with anyone having pride in their race, pride is the root of many sins. And really, what would this pride be based on? I wasn't on the way to being born into a laotian family when I fought my way into my (black) mom's body, and I daresay you didn't do anything to earn a white existence.

The problem is that a white pride club means blacks aren't allowed and usually blacks aren't liked. Furthermore blacks aren't even considered humans or at least not very good humans I suppose.
Black pride is having pride in our people since we rarely get to see our people in positions of power or even employed in a positive career. Whites are allowed and usually welcomed and where some people might be racist, the vast majority are open and loving of all people. There is no true white-hating organization in the United States with a following of more than 50 people. I doubt you will find one at all with more than 5 people.
The KKK exists here and it is strong. They want to kill us. Not sure why they bring us over here then decided they like it better if we aren't but that isn't what this discussion is about.
There are a lot of things wrong with being racist depending on your perspective and upbringing. The thing is, as a black person life is hard. Whites automatically assume you are up to no good, assume you aren't educated, and assume if you are in a positive position that you are there just because you are black. What they don't realize is that we often do belong there, we often have to have a better GPA to get in the door than a white person and that we worked harder to get there than they did. People think I am being funny when I tell them I loved living in Minnesota because I hadn't been shot at there once. Most of them only heard gun shots while hunting.
Try coming from a place of no positivity, no role models, and almost no way out. Being beat up because you want to learn and go to school and not sell drugs. Having to work 2 or 3 jobs to pay your college tuition. Most of my white friends partied while in college. Most did drugs if they wanted and hadn't been in but 1 or 2 fights and those were in elementary school.
You hate me, whatever. I can't do anything about it. Maybe church could help, but only if you thought your life needed fixing. I just could never hate a person that didn't do something directly to me or indicate that they wanted to do something derrogatory to me. I don't understand how someone can grow up that way in today's world. And what's funny is most whites are in denial about the fact that there is still racism in this world or at least this country. I just don't get it. Feel free to email me to explain, or not if you don't.

Well lets see. There are many reasons why i know the world remains racist today but few actually have denoted it as being so. (look at my pic i'm white so if you gets offended then shut the fu@^ up...)
-every race has its horrible people and that is what the rest are judged on. However, while whites gloat about being trailor trash. Blacks gloat about robbing stores and "killing" people. While Mexicans are gloating about being border hoppers and being too drunk or stoned to care. Look at your racial comedians to find te answers...
-It is all races that are currently actively degressing each other. White people for not changing anything. Black people for not doing anything. Mexicans for trying to do something that ends up taking the least wanted jobs away from americans, jobs none the less. Whe i was a kid i wanted to work fast food but Pablo, whorehey(george), and Fancisco age 25 27 & 29 allready had the job...
-there is a vulgarity twards whites from all sides to try to get an apology for something our forefathers did when really what they are mad about is that they didn't think of it first!!!
-There is a vulgarity twards blacks because they aren't getting the "monthly stipent" they believe somebody owes them. Oh yeah and because they are the 90% jail cell filler in USA. It isn't my fault you broke the law just remember that i enforce it...
-There is a vulgarity twards Mexicans because there is no real reason for the love of somebody who is going to destroy the medicare that i worked in this country my whole life to deserve to go to somebody else when they never paid into it... This goes for all of those other "immigrant a holes" that move here when they turn 65 and expect social security when they did nothing for it...
Right about now i feel that another bombing is needed so we can illustrate the stupidity of people in large groups. Now I Personally am Racist i try to see things from all sides. However, that is impossible and i accept that. If i get told a joke that pokes fun at whtes then i dare you to gt mad at me when i tell a joke that pokes fun at your race. When i say that there should be no Black history mont because you know what as far as i am concerned white people won that war so uhhh we get to write the history that your children will learn. If everyone would get over themselves and at least attempt to find a medium that does does not allocate funds based on the color of your skin then i would be one happy SOB. Untill then there will be no reason to feel any sort of love for those who feel none for me. I am Not the Stupidly happy Christian that forgives you for hating me. It has to start somewhere and yu know if you look at me and say ohh its another white guy complaining then guess what you furthered the stereotype untill everone is noticed as an individual there will be a conformed bias to all race creed and gender.

No race is (by law) allowed to form a racist group. What's wrong with it is it promotes hate and anarchy. The concept that you are better than anyone on this planet is based on issues you have. I have met people from deep Africa and depp Mexico. They are beautiful people. True Americans are the most beautiful, but racism and this kind of hatred hides our beauty.

you asked two different questions and you're trying to make the second question identical to the first when it isn't.
first question: what is wrong with being a racist?
second question: what is wrong with being proud of ones own race?
These are different questions. So trying to make it seem like they are one and the same is just propaganda.
but to answer the questions. racism is based on false beliefs, on stereotypes of a particular race. so in that sense it is factually incorrect. since it is based on a false belief system, the arguments leading to racism are fallacious. so in that sense it is ignorant as well. but it is also hateful. so we have hate based on ignorance. this is a form of psychological dysfunction. you don't hate people based on ignorance and alienation if you're psychologically and spiritually healthy and in tune with the world. these are the actions of minds warped by fear and conditioning.
in terms of pride in ones own race, i also believe this is wrong. first, you have no control over what race you were born into. since you do not have control over, how can it be rational to be proud of it? second, if you are proud of a whole race it means you lack critical thinking skills. this is because 'the race' is merely composed of individuals. and these individuals are just as varied within the race as they are varied outside the race. so to be proud of, or to hate, 'an entire' race is to act as if that race is homogonous and has some single property belonging to the whole to be proud of. it doesn't, precisely because it is composed of individuals that are different. one could of course be proud because of skin color, but that is irrational since skin color has no moral quality whatever and is merely a biological evolutionary adaptation.
"if the blacks have pride in their communities no one seems to have a problem with it, only if whites are proud they are wrong."
I suggest you look up a fallacy called the 'two wrongs make a right' fallacy.

Whether we admit it our not we are ALL racist in our own little way. I am brown and I believe that we are the best... love your own as they will say. But the difference lies when you are showing disrespect to other people and treating them as if they do not have any rights at all. There is nothing wrong in criticising other races once in a while, nobody is perfect. just know your limitations.

you're confusing delight in ones lifestyle with hatred of others lifestyle. you're proud to be who you're and what you're, and that is tremendous! sturdy for you. Do you hate different persons because of the position they arrive from or who they're? it really is racist. Be a proud Mexican, Salvadorian, Anglo, Russian or African American, clone of many everybody is already, yet convey with it appreciate on your fellow guy and who they're. then you definitely aren't from now on a racist, yet an wise, enlightened human being.

This should not be the attitude anyone should have. All of us should learn to be color blind. I think it is wonderful to be proud of your heritage (ie, German, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Ethopian etc) but no one should want to form a divide between their race and another. We're all biologically the same on the inside. Your solution seems hypocritical and will not help to solve anything.

You can form a white club if you want. Any club that forms that seeks to kill, hurt, or eliminate others - others who are innocent - is evil. From your club; be proud of who you are - if you are a decent person - but don't hurt others just because you think you are better. That is wrong for anyone to do.

There's a difference between having pride in your nation and hating others or considering them inferior because of their ethnic background or skin colour.
You cannot control your 'race' and it is unfair for anybody to be targeted, hated or discriminated against because of this.
Keep your pride, but kick your hate-mongoring to the curb - Racists aren't very popular these days...
