That's odd, why wasn't his wife the trustee? If the wife is not capable of caring for her self tho then I don't see any reason why you couldn't, if shes of sound mind, there may be problems and she may feel offended by the fact your the trustee and not her.

Trustee means that he trusted you to protect his wife's interests not live off of them.

Make sure that her needs are met or exceeded that is what your brother trusted you to do. She is to be taken care of not mooched off of!!!

I SURE YOU SHOULD BE ALBE TO LIVE THERE ,BUT IF YOU WERE NOT ALREADY PRESENT IN THE HOUSE AND SHE WAS WITH YOUR BROTHER MARRIED WHICH WOULD MEAN SHE WOULD HAVE MORE SAY THAN YOU OVER THE ROOF THEY ONCE SHARED.
