again, it depends on the laws within OK... here in AR we require a work permit.... Labor laws prohibit us to work for a certain times during the day so 3rd shift is out for you.... It also depends on the rules and reg. of Braums the only way you will know that is if you as the manager...

good luck

I believe it goes by the state. In Pa my son was 16, when working in a restaurant. Maybe your dad doesn't want you to work w/ him yet? My son can work for others but, likes to argue w/ me. That happens a lot w/ your own family. Good luck. Except, I forgot about the summer (kids applied thru school) work programs were only for low income familys though, and I wasn't then. Shame we weren't all treated fairly kids got good experience working at insurance co's etc. Probably why I had 0 exp. & couldn't get hired after school right away in my small town.

I think most states allow 16 year olds at the very least to apply for a job with or without a permit or parental permission. Just check with your state labor office about child labor laws.

In most states (if not all) you have to be 18 to get a job without your parents permission. If you are at least 15, you can get a work permit, which is basically just a document saying that your parents are allowing you to get a job. Once you get a work permit, you should be good to go. Call your local government or visit their website and they should tell you how to get one.

depending on the work rules in your state or county. You would have to get a special permit from the court house in your city.
