My kids and I suffer from 'unrealized pet ownership syndrome'. OK, I made that up. If it werent for my husband, I'm sure we would own a horse, a goat, a chihuahua, a grey hound, a rat, a ferret, a chinchilla and a suger glider. I guess it's a good thing that my husband stands as the voice of reason. As it is we have 2 fish and 2 dogs.

I have quite a few pets.. but I want one that does not have to be cleaned up after, walked, bathed etc. Guess that will never happen so I will continue to get the ones that take up a lot of time

An English bulldog. There's lots of "cute" exotic pets out there, but most are not practical choices. My generic message to all: ALWAYS research an animal BEFORE you get it!!!

One of those skinny little lizards that runs on it's back legs, with the fringe around it's face. That would be cool if he did that around the house when things got quiet.

my parents used to have a pet skunk....de-scented of course. I've seen pictures and heard stories of how affectionate it actually was. I'd love to have one
