No. There have been people in all cultures and times throughout human history who have identified themselves as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender (GLBT). Homosexuality is not an illness or a disorder, a fact that is agreed upon by both the American Psychological Association and the American Psychiatric Association. Homosexuality was removed from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) of the American Pyschiatric Association in 1974. Being transgender or gender variant is not a disorder either, although Gender Identity Dysphoria (GID) is still listed in the DSM of the American Pyschiatric Association. Being GLBT is as much a human variation as being left-handed - a person's sexual orientation and gender identity are just another piece of who they are. There is nothing wrong with being GLBT - in fact, there's a lot to celebrate.

I think it is wrong for two reasons: First, it is unnatural in every sense. Second, I believe in God and He has commanded that "man who lie with man" is an abomination. And why would he give this commandment? Because He knew it would be a temptation for many. To feel attractive to someone is not a sin. To act on it outside of the male/female marriage relationship in any sexual way is a sin. I am not saying that people who have attractions to the same sex are just making it up...I do think it's real. But most married men (and many women) desire many partners...that doesn't make it right for them to go out and commit adultery either!

When it comes to sexual or romantic preference, as a law enforcement officer I only have a problem with it if it causes physical or severe mental harm to an individual. I've never seen or heard about lesbian causing any harm to anyone, more to it makes people happy and has the same pros and cons as a regular couple love. There is nothing wrong about it in my book. If that is your preference and you choose it, that is your right.

Of course it's not wrong! Why would it be? Two women getting together doesn't hurt anyone. It's just another kind of loving. It's no more wrong than a bloke and a woman, just different bits and bobs involved.

Nothing wrong with being a lesbian. There is plenty wrong with referring to it as "lez" however.

I don't think there is a right or wrong when it comes to sexual preferences- it's simply who you feel more attracted to. If two people like each other who's anyone to say it's wrong?

No, of course not. Everybody loves differently, and if some women would rather love women than men, that's their choice. We all have to find what makes us happy in this world.
