I'm NOT a Liberal. I don't support Liberalism. I have no interest in Liberalism. What I'm trying to say, with the preceding statements, is that I am NOT. A. LIBERAL.
As a matter of fact, there are MANY people on Answers, who aren't Liberals. Many of these non-Liberals disagree with some of the policies of this current administration.
Can you goofy, uneducated, morons stop calling anyone who dissents, a Liberal?
It makes you look foolish. It DESTROYS your credibility.
To actually believe that there are only TWO schools of thought, on the entire planet, is simply, unarguably, without discussion; STUPID.
Stop being stupid. Just stop it. You can do it.
I promote the Constitution Party's platform. Good luck finding anything Liberal in it.

Have I mentioned that I'm not a Liberal?

Whew!
Glad to see all of these responses. Especially those intellectually gifted individuals still calling me a Liberal.
Don't you just LOVE Yahoo! Answers?

Jacob, I only refer to people who label me as Liberal, as NEO-CONS. --I only do THAT, because it drives them up the wall.

Cons have become radical extremists who cover their tracks with religion. They are so out on the fringe even a conservative moderate is labeled by them as a "lib." Karl Rovian tactics 101.

Thank you for the reference to the constitution party agenda and platform.
This was very interesting reading. And, I found that a great deal of what I read made sense and I agree with.
However there are some items that I think could stand some re-working.
First of all, our constitution does permit, without other restriction, the power of the federal government to enter into treaties with other nations providing only that they are confirmed by the congress. I agree that there are many treaties that the federal government has approved that we should not have agreed to. These do need to go through the process of withdrawal, again with congressional approval.
Secondly, while I believe that the supreme power of the universe is the source of all freedom and liberty, I caution against the use of traditionally judeo/christian terms which tend to limit the concept of "God", rather than leave the concept open to interpretation by the individual. While the party does not support the establishment of or the enfringement of the establishment of religion, the very wording of some of the platforms "assumes" a certain definition of God and therefore in error establishes by accord a certain concept of religion.
While I am strongly opposed to the concept that our constitution is a "living document", I do recognize that though the document hasn't changed (and shouldn't be except carefully and as per the amendment process) the world has changed...very dramatically. And these changes in the world have forced upon the American people the reality that in living in the world carries with it responsibilities to the world, therefore, our involvement in world affairs should reflect these changes.
I am not an isolationist, politically or economically or militarily. Just as I hold a great responsibility to my community to live peaceably, I also have a responsibility to do what is necessary and with what force is necessary, to ensure the safty of the community against those that would not live peacably. The world is America's community. Though we may be going too far to "police" the world now, I don't believe that total withdrawal from the world community is the correct step either.
We will, as a people, never revert to the revenue raising system that was originally established by the constitution. You can argue that perhaps we should, and I recognize the validity of those arguments. I just don't see it happening. Therefore I do support the abolition of the IRS and the use of a national retail sales tax in addition to the revenue raising affect of import and excise taxes.
I found the platform to be a very strange mix of both conservative and liberal views with regard to a multitude of topics. I would guage that it is mostly conservative.
Very interesting and I will give it more time in thought and study.
And if you believe in much of what I read, then no, you are definately not a liberal. I am not sure you are a conservative though. As to what you are...perhaps it is something new.
For now at least, I will consider the "something new" in more depth.

You should not blame conservatives for acting that way. They are all victims of a policy played by their own leader. Remember the "you are either with us or against us?" this is what played in the mind of the majority of the conservatives. Bush and Co have MASTERED the way to use patriotism and fear in order to get their support. it worked then and it still works now.
All it takes for those who are convinced that Bush is right is for that one to tell them how liberals wants to sell out the US to the Arab world and they will believe it and cal them traitors.
How stupid can you be to EVEN think that ANY and I mean ANY American would sell his own nation to the Arabs?
The only difference between the two parties ... one seems open to work alongside the other ,,, the former ... however still think it is God almighty speaking through them.

Calm down. Get some coffee, take a deep breath and relax. I know how you feel. I am a slightly left leaning centerist. The more I hear from the extreme right the more I am tempted to move farther to the left. Fortunately I have not. I am much more conservative today than I was 30 years ago and I, like you don't like the absolute labels people tag each other with.
I don't know much about Ron Paul and because of his lack of name recognition and lack of fund raising at this point I wouldn't get my hopes too high if I were you.

I have to give you credit. You are risking quite a bit telling Yahoo Answers that you are NOT LIBERAL. Most of the people out here just don't understand that.
Good luck with the Constitution Party. They have a great chance in 2008.

Take deep breaths and calm down. You have to be aware that there is a radical right wing group spamming Yahoo Answers with multiple profiles. If you not one of the profiles you will be attacked by them continually. On the other side are the Liberals, and I'm a moderate, but since I have been attacked by the nut cases too, I'm full fledged Democrat now.

i am also not a "Liberal" and lately have been calling myself Green Libertarian. Some people are hard headed and stuck forever with their arrogance and convictions, maybe based on life experiences, maybe their own bias and prejudice, or both. But people will continue to rant and rave and jump up and down about liberals this and that. All you can do is keep your cool and level head and not sink to that level of false accusations and flawed logic. Just poke fun at them and because they are so dim they won't get the joke, like my friend Angry Bob posed the question on Y!Answers, "Was re-electing George Bush to a second term a liberal plot to destroy America?"
I get jokes.

I agree wholeheartedly with your main premise. I'm an Independent moderate and am tired of the whole liberal label crapola that the Bush Bots employ. Tired, tired, tired of it. I did check out your link, but your preamble stopped me in my tracks. Sorry, but I couldn't disagree with it more strongly. I believe in the concept of separation of church and state. It has served us very well and will continue to do so. But kudos on your main point, absolutely.

So you're not a Liberal - wouldn't have been easier to just say "Hey everyone I'm not a Liberal"? Same effect just a lot less typing. Oh & guess what I am not a liberal either - see that was really easy. Good Luck!

I have read several of your questions and you are definitely not a liberal. However, you do have a bit of a problem with labeling others. Not everyone who disagrees with you is a NEOCON, sir.
