Pakistan, of which is a land mass that's controlled and abundantly inhabited by brainwashed genocidal maniacs that worship hatred and death... of course Saudi Arabia earns second place, followed Iran, and then Syria... and the unfortunate thing about it, is that unless these countries emerge from the 7th century and join the rest of the world in the 21st century, there's little hope of peace on Earth...

This is a hard general question. To say that any one country/place or people is better or worse than the next, is a tough can of worms to try opening...yet here it is. Opened and squirming.
I don't know that any country or people can be considered 'the worst.' People are born to the means of survival and making a living for themselves and their families as best they can, given their situation in where they are from.
People find happinesses and sorrows in every corner of the world. People learn to adapt to their surroundings. Or some simply choose to move (and this provided if they can afford to do such).
Some countries, though full of acts of violence and what might be considered ridiculous laws to the rest of us, is home to people who have lived there all their lives, and know no other way of existence, therefore for them, it is normal.
Even in countries where everything is 'better' by anyones standard of the meaning, still has it's crime rates, rapes, murders, etc.
Every place has its' ups and downs. The prettiest of rolling countryside's or jungles or forests or cities, can have the ugliest of criminals or hatemongers.
To call it out, and say which one is the worst, or which one is better, who is a nicer or who is an uglier people...
I think the answer would come easy....the finger would have to be turned around on ones self, and then ask why one asked the question in the first place? Because even as opinions are given freely, to call one or the next the worst or the best-who is now the person/people labelling another and pointing a finger?
I work for a lawfirm that does quite a bit of pro bono work for people seeking asylum from atrocities that have occured purely because of things like their orientation. Even in the horrors that some people have experienced, they would gladly go back to their countries, if they could only be accepted for who they are.
Their loved ones are there, their friends, families...everything that they know...some, even when we are fighting to help them, will go back, knowing what they may face, because to be torn from those they love...they'd rather face what they know as 'their way of life' than risk losing that which is more important to them...love and family.
We are all creatures of habit and surroundings. Everything around us is born of the way and environment in which we are raised. Any person so ready to point the finger, needs to turn it on themselves, and ask why?

For sutpidity and ignorance it must be America.
About Saudi Arabia you have to consider that it is the home of the strictest sect of Islam and they live their lives, and by the law, by the strictures of the Koran which leaves no room for enterpetation, if it says such then that is the way it is to be.

Somalia!! There is a lot of civil unrest there; many children are forced to join local rebel groups, etc. Rival groups are always at war with eachother!
And the people are horrible!! No offence but Somialian people are the ugliest people! Also there hygiene and manners are atrocious!! I live in an area where there is a pretty large somalian population and I constantly see them hacking up phlem and spitting it out on the street!! And I am not only talking about the men - the women are just as bad!!

There are bad and good countries. And there are bad and good people in different countries. There are things that I don't agree with in most countries, but this does not mean they are all bad. To be honest, I think the UK (and I'm from the UK myself) and the US are bad for going to war in Iraq. The Iraqis are all bombing eachother and it bugs me that Bush n Blair are interfering! Why send our troops out there when the Iraqis are killing eachother regardless?
