I think media shows whatever they want and they seem to have a lot of power, because almost everyone listens to the media like their speaking the gospel truth. I know they have a difficult job and all, but I don't really appreciate the media much. I don't believe everything they say, and I'm shocked that some people do. To really answer your question, often times yes, they do support a more liberal agenda, but it also depends on which part of the media you're talking about.

Its hard. i think of a lot of those in the media tend to "proportion" the democratic occasion's imaginative and prescient of the destiny. the commonplace public of the time notwithstanding, i've got confidence the media is able to being purpose. notwithstanding, I do experience there is an extremely reliable "professional-Clinton" lean to the media which i detect inexplicable. you will discover it top now via turning on any information channel the place they have already declared Hillary the democratic nominee devoid of single vote being solid. Its a extensive disservice to the democratic occasion and element of the dissociation the democrats have had with the inhabitants. I only cant decide why the affection the Clintons lots and can't see the extensive anti-Clinton backlash they themselves have helped create. regrettably, there isn't lots i will do. All that being stated above, i in my opinion experience like the media has been softer than it may well be on the Bush administration. I actually have a feeling its do to the thought that the american human beings won't tolerate dissention in a time of conflict. (ala invoice Mahr sp?)

By and large I think that main stream American media not only promotes the liberal agenda, I think they go out of their way to distort the views of conservative Americans. FOX is the only exception to that and their ratings are booming. I guess the people who own the news, other than FOX, have so much money they are no longer concerned by the ratings or what views want to watch.

There was a left of center view in the Media, before Fox came along. CNN and the gang have gravitated to the center more to try to get back the viewers that Fox has tapped into. But polls prove that a majority of reporters are Liberal so that's where you see the bias surface....Also see when an outlet puts a panel together, CNN does mix it, but their drawback is they still weigh it to the left.

I think the news media reports the news and I think many of the reds think it is bias because they report the bad news for them. However with further examination I think you can find as many negative liberal things in the media as you find positive. To answer your question no I do not think the media promotes the liberal agenda. .

most news is to the left, like cnn, but Fox news is more to the right, I wish the could just tell the news and not promote any agenda, so that we could say for ourselfs what we think about what is going on, and not have any news personal tells us the news one-sided and not get the whole story.

Absolutely yes.
Conservative commentators are always labelled as such, but the rest of the media/journalists are Marxist commies masquerading as objective reporters. Many of them are so wrapped up--indoctrinated--in the leftist mindset, in the pervasive groupthink, that they don't even realize it!
At least FOX is closer to the middle ground; although slightly to the right, FOX is nowhere near as biased as the rest of the socialist and anti-American networks and newspapers, etc...

yes they do, people who throw out Hannity, Rush, Coulter, etc. fail to point out one thing, those people are not news people but commentators who get paid to give their opinion.
katie Curic, Dan Rather and their ilk are supposed to be newspeople who are not supposed to give their opinion but let their bias leak into their reporting. just look at the Imus thing, who many times has he been referred to as a liberal, but when Rush messes up you cant see his name without the word Republican or conservative being too far off. if a Republican politician does something wrong, you will know right away in the story that he is a Republican, but if a Democrat Politician does something just as wrong the word Democrat will be hidden so ddep in the story that you will have to search hard to find out what party the man or woman is associated with. to me that's a bias.

No, the news media promotes the agenda of big business and consumerism. It's there to indoctrinate the masses and keep the system in check.

Some, but over all the only agenda the news media pushes is ratings. None of them could care less about the truth
