I've seen some strange questions on here, but I really think you need to get some intensive therapy!
Anyway, regardless of theat wire coat hangars are very useful - if you unwind them and move the wire back and forth until it breaks, (mind your fingers thought, it can get very hot) to get the right length and mould it into the right shape they make a heck of a good back scratcher for one thing - try it - they're absolutely fantastic for getting to that annoying itch - and you can mould it to just the right angle to get to any itch you have on your back!
That's just one use other than as a regular coat hangar - they're also pretty good for retrieving keys etc., through the grate of drains.

You don't think there are two phobias do you? One for just metal coat hangers and one for purely 'wire' coat hangers - I mean the fact that wire is made of metal may not actually have much bearing on someone who is afraid of wire ones as apposed to big chunky ones made of a different kind of metal or even the same metal but more of it!
Didn't you actually ask a question about them?
Oh yes! No I don't think the world will ever be taken over by wire coat hangers - because they're 'inanimate' objects that can't think!!!!

well, considering my friend is at the moment working on making wire coat hangers able to think for themselves, it's a very real posibility. Once they can think for themselves, they are going to kill off their master (my friend) gather together, use the pointy end to kill others in power and soon will take over the world!!!!!!!!! Maybe I should try to stop him now....nah.

no. I think coat hangers are pretty harmless. It's sponges I worry about.
