Probably not. In fairness to Charlie, he didn't have much to work with last season. Poor O-line, Mo Carthon and some other internal struggles didn't help him grow much.
We learned that he is a tough competitor who scrambles OK but his downside is he made some poor decisions (please learn when to throw the ball away will ya! aaaargh!), turned his back to the field too many times and may not have the superior arm strength needed for Nov - Dec weather conditions in the AFC North.
It's too bad because The Browns are poised with the No. 3 draft pick and will probably have use it on Quinn instead of taking the best player available in Calvin Johnson.
Oh yeah and... steelerssuck. Go Browns!

No, Charlie Frye is there untill they get a good QB. This year in the draft they might pick up Troy Smith who is somewhat of a lottery pick. If he can play like he did in college things will be great for the Browns, if he cant adjust to the size of the offensive and defensive lines then he wil have some problems and the browns will continue their seemingly neverending QB search.

YES...he is the one to lead the Browns...to a losing record. Watched him last year and he was just straight-up terrible in some games. Could be the offensive line not giving him enough time but he just can't make all the throws. I really think the Browns will take QB in the draft...probably local boy Brady Quinn.

I like the guy as a QB
but I don't know....
it's hard for me to picture anybody leading the Browns anywhere at this moment.
I just hope they don't pick up Brady Quinn
-not for the normal reasons
but because here in Ohio so many people talk so much ignorant trash about anybody from ND especially Quinn
but as soon as he gets signed by their home town/state team...he's a God
and i just really can't take much more "sports fan" B.S like that

Lead the browns where? To last place in the division again? Yeah probably. The division is way to good for the browns.

When he came into the league, I was so mad that my fins passed him up. I think he has great potential to be one of the best in the league.
