my nephew refuses to ride the city bus to work he would rather walk or call in!! my sister has to leave her job just to come home and take him to work..the bus stop is right in front of their house! he says "nobody rides the bus anymore!" what do you think?

I think he needs to suck it up and ride the bus, it's not luxurious but it gets the job done.

Unfortunately things have changed. I hated riding a bus! People feel more comfortable getting their own transportation now days. ALthough i really think he needs to grow up. and his mother needs to stop giving in to this.

No one catches the bus? Where does he live - planet moon? The buses around here are ALWAYS packed. I think it's just lazines to be honest. And what about the car's carbon emissions? If he carries on he'll have little option but to walk when the government finaly ban's all cars

I agree with engineer. He needs to grow up and stop relying on "mommy". She should not have to leave her job to take him to work. She could lose her job over this if her boss gets tired of it. I work with several people who have to rely on public transportation to get to work. He simply thinks it's not cool to ride the bus.

most teenagers don't ride the bus cause they are now driving or riding with someone.
