I think it was specifically the singer that didn't care.
So much so he wrote a song about it.
Maybe he a had a grudge about Jimmy or maybe he was just an observer who who thought he would chronicle Jimmys misfortune.
Either way I must confess I dont care anyway.
I think I have food poisoning from this weekends bar b que.

Hmm, I always thought it said "Jimmy craps corn and no one cares" which made sense corn is hard to digest.

It says 'I don't care' not 'No one cares'. I'm sure somebody somewhere cares about Jimmy and his cracked corn, very painful, like bunions.
