I was! The guy had a gun and was going to start shooting, they had no choice but to shoot him. There is still yelllow tape blocking off the end of the street!

No I wouldn't be scared. Sounds like law enforcement officers had the situation under control. I wouldn't have gone anywhere near the action for fear of a stray bullet. That is one of a cop's greatest fears that some brave, fearless bystander will jump in and save the day. Cops don't need or want that. It just gives them more to worry about and makes their job harder. The same with accident scenes. Everybody wants to see the bloody results and all the rubber necking just causes more problems. Sometimes even more accidents.

i live in killadelphia... its not the cops you have to worry about, they get training and usually hit what they aim at... its the @ssholes that just start popping off rounds at each other, usually hitting bystanders. 3 people were shot 2 blocks down, trying to help a woman being beat up by her man. 2 injured 1 woman didn't survive .... i used to like my hood. get this he didn't shoot the woman he was beating. just the neighbors. my city is killin' itself.

happened all the time where i was born and used to live, Salinas, CA you would hear at least 2 guns going off a day. Crazy

Nope, not scared. I've lived in neighborhoods where that's just common place. Not much scares me anymore.
