I have toured the property and the accommodations are adequate for the cost. This is one of the older hotels and they do try to upgrade from time to time. You will find game rooms and Internet access off of the lobby as well as the swimming pool. As far as locations go, you are minutes from Disney and on the main tourist strip in Kissimmee. Since you are very near Olde Towne do not expect a secluded quiet area (especially on Friday and Saturday). If you are looking for a place to lay your head after a day at the theme parks, you will find this hotel ok.

I have stayed in the Days Inn Maingate East Suites in Kissimmee. The experience was cool. Just as I was checking in, there was a lady cursing out the front desk worker about a horrible experience at the motel. This is not a five star motel at all.I found the air quality to be horrible. I set my heat to 90 and still froze to death. Plus there is no free breakfast. But it is so close to Disney World and a lot of great shopping places. You will not spend much time there anyway. Plus if you want to ride the shuttle bus to Disney World, it is the LAST hotel that the shuttle bus goes to before going to Disney World and the FIRST hotel that the shuttle bus goes to take people back to their hotel.

I did back in early 90s. It is your basic accommodations. They wanted us to rent dishes utensils, pots and pans, etc. We ended up buying bowls and plasticware at the Publix just to give cold cereal to the kids. We got a so-called suite. You can see the interstate from the bedroom window.

It was okay for what we did and needed. The plus side is you are not far from the theme parks and we really enjoyed being able to walk to Old Towne in the evening. Lots of stores and nightly entertainment unless things have changed. Not far from many restaurants on the strip either.
