The closest one is in San Leandro:

It's not too big though. The closest major ones are in Petaluma, Milpitas, Vacaville and Gilroy:

Don't go to Vacaville for an outlet. Heck, the Solano Mall in Fairfield is closer to SF than Vacaville. But the Napa Premium Oulets in Napa are really cool. A little further north in Napa Valley is another set of premium outlets in St. Helena. And those have really premium outlets like Movado, Prada, etc... But the Napa outlet has stores from Levi and J Crew and Banana Republic to china shops, bookstores, luggage, Ann Taylor, and much more affordable stores than the St. Helena ones.

And if you pick Napa, right there across the street from them is a burger place called Annie's. It looks like a shack with a carwash, but Annie's always get excellent reviews in the paper for the best burgers in town. You can email me if you need other places to go while in Napa. There's a free trolley (or it might be fifty cents now) that'll take you all over town. I live here and I've taken visitors around on it.

GREAT MALL in Milpitas is the cheapest. Go to Google map and check directions -using public transportations.

i like the one at napa valley (but possibly 'coz it is a road trip up north for me) and there's always the vine yards to check out when you're there.

the one at gilroy (about 2 hrs drive from SF) is much bigger than the one at napa tho.
