You are probably having ingrown hairs - though it is possible you have a case of follicilitis. It is a staph infection that is usually responsive to topical antibiotic ointment - if you have no allergy to it. (example Bacitracin) This is a little fast to have such an infection, but it is possible. If the topical ointment does not clear things up in a couple days, consider going to your doctor for an oral antibiotic.
Ingrown hairs are usually reddened raised bumps - mildly uncomfortable - itchy. Folliculitis is a lot like acne with the hair follicle in the middle of the bump - sometimes a pus center.
Treatment of ingrown pubic hair especially along any area that has increased friction, like the crease of your leg, using a hot compress against ingrown spots at least 10 minutes three times daily. This process is helpful if followed strictly. Be sure to wear loose underwear to reduce friction points.
Good luck

It's normal. But next time you shave, use some kind of cream or soap and don't shave against the hair, but shave in the direction of the hair. That may help.

Yes, it is usual. It means you made a BIG mistake when you decided to shave it. You'll have to go through some agony while it grows back in - aloe vera gel might help -- but then NEVER shave it again. Trim a little, but keep the razor for your face.

After shaving, you'll get a tingly feel once your pubic hair starts to regrow. The short pubic hair will start to make you feel itchy as it rubs against your skin. Having rashes is normal, and the consequence of cutting your pubic hair. After awhile when your hair comes back, you will not feel that itch, and your rash will go away.

Yes, for you either didn't have enough lubrication or shaved too hard.
And you will go nuts when it grows back in, as it will itch like crazy
