The best job is the one you love. When my dad worked at a GM training center he said he felt guilty for taking each paycheck because he loved his job so much (the job combined two of his passions: teaching and cars.) There's more to work than just the paycheck, for a lot of us our identity is also wrapped up in what we do. Instead of thinking about the hours you'll be required to work, you should be thinking about what truly interests you.

The short answer to that one is one that you love to do and one you have a strong aptitude for. If you truly love what you do, you don't mind the hours as it is a passion that you love.
There are numerous free sites on the internet to find that out if you don't already know, such as Tickle.com
http://web.tickle.com/career/?c=42628&test=careerogt
Jobs where you only work a few days a week, but likely 12 hr or more shifts when you do are nursing, wedding planning, videographer or photographer for wedding, especially in larger cities) to name a few.
A woman I work wanted the best paying job she could get and work mostly from home, did a lot of research after getting her Bachelor's in a degree that was not very marketable, and is going back to school to learn to be a Medical Transcriptionist. She found that she could earn $17+ an hour (in the Midwest...could be more in other areas), most is phone/internet based and once she proves proficiency they will let her proofread transcripts from voice-generated software just to verify/correct in case the software made an error in understanding the doctor.

The best job is the one that you love
What is your passion in life, what do you enjoy? If you can find a job related to that passion...then you will be happy. If you are happy in your work it will be the best job for you! You will enjoy getting up and going to work every day...that is a very important thing...the best job.
be cool
