I would now.

I did this at age 17. A cop came out of nowhere, pulled me over, and wrote me a ticket.

Yes, because people speed and you may not see them coming. A couple nights ago I was in a shopping center with a 4 way stop sign. Everyone waited their turn, stopping...going....stopping....going. I went and it was another cars turn to go, Some guy in a Mercedes decided that he didn't want to wait at the stop sign (probably because he saw a green light up ahead to make a left on to the street) and blew the stop sign almost causing a horrible accident.

There have been plenty of times when I wasn't speeding on a service road to a highway, and it's always in the same spot where cars come to an almost stop and then jump out in front of me going a lot less then the speed I was going.

So, yes, for my safety and my sons safety I always stop at a stop sign.

Probably yes - force of habit. Same way I would probably use the indicators if I was making a turn off a deserted road.

I only pause for a second when it's an All Way stop sign.

yes. Not even because it's the law or anything, but because there still might be a cat or whatever. And it would sort of blow to run over anything.
