When you first get up in the morning, do you sit there staring into space with a grumpy look on your face?

Mostly, I can get the grumpy look to go away by the time I get out of the shower, but some days its a permanent fixture for the rest of the day. I think it depends on how long its been since....

Not a grumpy look, I never wake up like that. It's more of a stunned look until I have a cup of tea followed by a coffee

For a few minutes yes.. I think it's more of a stunned look than anything! I'm in denial that morning has arrived. Once the coffee starts to brew I snap out of it. Usually.

yes, for a good 20 minutes you really cannot talk to me. Nothing will be absorbed from the conversation and God forbid you attempt to give me any 'to do's' or instructions...all I hear is 'wah waa waaas wa' and some swishy noises. Until the caffeine has been pored down my throat and I have watched the news..I'm pretty sure I am sub-human.

I hit the ground running, trying to keep up with my kids and my job. My wife hates the fact I'm a morning person.

When I first get up, I stretch, rub my eyes until I can see clearly, go wake up my son for school, then brush my teeth, wash my face, since I can't take a bath until I get him off to the bus.

I daydream for a while and stare into space every morning before someone walks by and call my name to "wake" me up.

Ha! Nope, I'm one of those annoying morning people. Awake as soon as my feet hit the floor and *really* annoyingly happy after my first cup of coffee.

i'm usually grumpy when i have to work!!lol!!i have coffee watch the news,clean a little go shopping then work!![i work in the afternoons!!]i'm not a morning person!!!
