PLEASE DO NOT wash your hamster in water! Rodents are very sensitive and the water will hurt the oil balance on their skin! DEFINITELY DO NOT use large animal bath wipes on them. That could kill them! Even larger animals are sensitive to what kind of chemicals are used on them. There is a small animal bath called "Chincilla Sand", which most rodents can use. Careful that it's sand, NOT powder. Powder could hurt them by having too small of particles and clogging their nose/throat. Get a ceramic dish or a rodent "bath house" that's big enough for your pet to get in and put enough sand in there to cover the bottom of the dish. Remember, wild hamsters live in the desert, so they use sand to clean themselves. It's totally natural. You will enjoy watching your rodent dig and roll around in their dish. It's fun for them, too, and they will smell better. Also, clean their cage and their house/ toys at least once a week and that will help, too. I hope this was helpful. Have fun with your pet hammy!

Yes.
Use a gentle soap and a sink. Get a little water on her and work up an even lather. Run the fawcet until the water is warm and wash her off.
Be sure to get all the soap rinsed off or it could irritate her skin. Try not to wash her head because you can get soap in her eyes. Give her a gentle towel fluff.
Hair dryers can damage her hearing, so please don't blow dry! :)
Have the cage set up a certain way and keep it like that. My gerbil has a bed in one corner, food in another, water in another, and toys in the middle. He usually goes potty under the water bottle or around the toys.

Do not use the sink. Use a small bowl of water. Hamsters are not real water animals but they do just fine in a bit of water. Let the hamster dry herself... Put her in a small box untill dry.
...BTW: A hamster that is not grooming herself may be ill..OK, they can be smelly anyway but if they do not fix their fur you probably should visit a vet.

You should not wash a hamster. They clean themselves, take the bed out of the cage and clean it. maybe he keeps going to the bathroom on it because The smell is already on it. Try putting the bed somewhere else in the cage after you clean it, and clean the whole cage too.

Just clean out the cage and let it take care of it`s self, if it`s going to toilet in it`s bed something is wrong with it.

I wouldn't suggest putting her in the water. You could take a damp wash cloth to her though. Or, buy those dog cleaning wipes.

You can wash her, and use a towel or blow dryer on a low setting to dry her off.
