I'm not saying I condone giving into pedophilia's impulses, however I don't think every situation is bad.

Also I'm not referring to an adult being sexually attracted to prepubescent kids. I agree that is sick, however if guy is 19 and has a 16 year old girlfriend - that's still considered pedophilia and in some U.S.A. states the legal age of consent is 16

That's really a good question, I think. We all assume that pedophilia is bad, but why is it bad - that's the question. I think nonconsensual sex of any kind is bad because it is disrespectful and a violation which leads to the person who is being violated to feel bad about themselves. Are all children incapable to giving genuine consent? I spoke to a lady who grew up in a foster home during much of her childhood. Her foster father molested her or had some sort of sex with her. Now she is in her 30's and has no bad feelings about this foster father. Her real father was a holy terror beat her mother so badly she ended up in a nursing home for the rest of her life. This lady felt that her foster father was the first man who showed her any love and she feels grateful for this. I believe the question of how pedophilia is harmful is much more complex than most people would admit to. I think the question should be examined in an objective scientific fashion rather than in a simple prejudicial manner.

16 year olds think that they know enough about life to have sex. The truth is, they don't. Sex is a sacred thing and should not be just given away like an old pair of shoes.
Minors should not be having sex. This is something that females can control, however, they choose not to.
I was very popular. Still I waited until I was 21.and 7 weeks. I wish I would have waited until I was 30 when I met my husband.
