♡Oh ann!
I asked this same Q. about 11 years ago!
At that time I was told that unfortunately there was NO fiancee visa.
You may come to Japan for up to 90 days if you are from the USA and stay with your boyfriend for that time.

For other country's visa info be sure to check the MOFA site
http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/index.html
to get the correct data. Once/if you marry your boyfriend you will then get a 'spousal visa' and then be able to live in Japan that way. You may want to get a 'reentry permit' if you plan to go back and forth to your home country as well.
You may check the types of visas that ARE available here:

~I didn't see a 'fiancee visa', sorry!
Hope this helps ann and good luck!
Also, if you are engaged~ ♡Congratulations to you!!!♡

I stay in Hawaii and my female pal from the Philippines already has a 10 twelve months assorted get entry to vacationer visa to the U. S.. Are her opportunities rather good of having a 6 month vacationer visa to Hawaii? we are approximately to purchase her cost tag, yet don t intend to make any errors. She shouldn't point out that she has a boyfriend that she is traveling, the perfect option? We do choose to get married, yet i choose to take earnings of her already having a vacationer visa and basically get her right here first. How long after she arrives in Hawaii till we are in a position to get married?

Not sure if Japan has such a thing. But he would have to be the one to file it. Why just not go there and marry him ?

i've never heard of that...you could get married and become a permanent resident, though.
