lol!!yes,and she'd take a knife a scratch off the real burnt part and put butter and jelly!she'd burn the meat[and till this day i can't eat any meat that isn't burnt!!or at least real well-done!!lol!!she's a crappy cook!she'd make food so terrible,we had to close our eyes and swallow!!if i didn't want to eat sth,she'd say "eat your food,children in africa don't have food to eat!!"then i said,"well,here send them mine!!"
then i spread this joke around:my mother cooks so horribly that when she makes soup,natives from africa come and dip their arrows in it!![she didn't like that!lol!]that's why i learned how to cook when i was 9!!after i was10 i would cook!!

Yes, except she would say no what the food is. "Think of all the Starving people around the world. This never changed my taste for whatever it was. I almost sent the food to the poor nations

don't tell anyone, but my mom (god rest her soul) was the world's worst cook. she burned darned near everything, and that's the way i like my food today. burnt toast is good and i can't eat steak any way except burnt, seriously. i order it that way in the restaurant, and get funny looks, but that is the only way i can eat it.
