I think the first thing to say is that you are only at the end of the second trimester and it is the third trimester during which most of the growth will take place. You should eat a good, balanced diet, not smoke, drink alcohol or use recreational drugs. If you are on prenatal vitamins, keep taking them.

And finally, remember that everyone is individual. Full term babies vary hugely in length and weight and now is not the time to be concerned, especially if the doctor is not.

Are you taking your pre-natal vitamins? They are very important for not only the baby's physical growth but for it's "brain power" too.
For the most part the baby will take what he/she needs from your body, that is why you must "fortify the temple". Drink milk as you can tolerate it, fresh fruits and vegs, cereals, etc...
I'm glad that you are a concerned parent. This is an unforgettable time , try to enjoy it to it's fullest.

I wouldn't worry about his weight or height too much. As long as he's been checked out by a doctor and the doctor says your baby is healthy than he should be fine.

Both my babies are underweight and height for their ages but they're healthy and that's what mattered the most said the doctors.

Just keep taking good care of your little one and feeding him as often as he wants and I'm sure he'll go through a growth spurt eventually :)
