For the last time. The military personnel in Abu Ghraib did what they did on their own and have been tried and convicted for it. That is not the way we treat prisoners so get off it.

The people in GITMO are not prisoners they are enemy combatants. They are specifically excluded from Geneva Convention protection. By all rights, we could execute them if we wish.

The British were not combatants of any sort. They were not even in Iranian waters. They were in uniform and manning clearly identified vessels. Since Britain and Iran were not in a state of war, they were not even prisoners they were hostages. By the simple act of piracy that the Iranians committed they were mistreating the British sailors.

Look, if you don't have the stomach to deal with these horrible terrorists I fully understand. But please, stand aside and allow us to do our job.

Mock executions, complete isolation, humiliation and being blindfolded constantly. Oh yeah the US treats prisoners so much worse.

Iran kidnapped uniformed soldiers purposely who posed them no threat. The soldiers should have been treated by the policies under the Geneva convention. They were not.

The prisoners held at Gitmo were not captured in uniform fighting for a regulated army. They do not qualify for the Geneva convention, therefore, we can treat them however want. That is the law. If you do not feel it is right, it is not the President or the military fault it is the fault of our lawmakers.

Ok big difference that you ,aparently , liberal hippies cant get through your head. I dont care what you say the people in abu ghraib are evil pieces of crap where as the british sailors were well.... sailors. They didnt do anything. They didnt plot and carry out plans to kill thousands of people. You know your playing into Irans hands right now? This whole thing was about propaganda in favor of Iran. He kidnapps a bunch of soldiers. Then , oh so graciously, releases them just in time for easter. You know that they had a body language analyst check out the soldiers and they found out they were being ordered to do that or they would be sentenced to 7 years in prison? You democrats seem to forget who Iran is very frequently so let me remind you. They are the country who fillets a man's tongue out of his mouth for having differing political views and kills people's families when ever it fits their needs. Democrats claim to be the humain party but they seem to side with evil people like iran all the time. I think its more about avoiding war at all costs because they are actualy afraid to go. I had a fraternity treat me worse than the terrorists at Abu Ghraib were treated. When did naked pyramids and dogpiles become torture?

Who would YOU rather be the prisoner of?

PS Jacob W said it best. I don't have the energy to keep answering questions like this in detail, over and over. I'm disgusted that they keep being asked, frankly.
