What is the first thing you do when you arrive at work?

i walk in and ask what kind of day we are having im 2nd shift so i walk into whatever they leave me and have to deal with it then i sit at my desk and weep silently for the first hour ...just kiddin of course

Check the voicemail
Check the fax
Log into network
Make coffee
Check email
And the day begins

I do shift work, so I have to count the cash drawer and get information from the preceding shift.

Smoke a cigarette & coke and try to cope with being at work than clock in and get report from the shift before me!

Straighten my desk up a little if it needs it,check to see whats on the agenda for that day,make sure all employees are accounted for,then settle in....=)

After I open (unlock) the door I turn off the alarm, and then turn on the lights.
