WE HAVE MORE THAN 10 CRORES OF PEOPLE HAVING THE CAPABILITY OF DEFEATING ANY TEAM OF THE WORLD. BUT THE MAIN PROBLEM IS WE DO NOT HAVE PLAYERS WHO PERFORMS CONSISTENTLY.
IF A PLAYER SCORES IN A SINGLE MATCH HE DID NOT PLAY THAT GAME IN THAT IN THE NEXT MATCHES. SO DO NOT CRITICIZE THE PRESENT TEAM. SUPPORT THEM.
A GOOD FAN SHOULD SUPPORT HIS COUNTRY ONLY WHEN HIS COUNTRY'S POOR PERFORMANCE. SUPPORT THEM.

A very good question to ask BCCI. I know they can not reply as we expect.
We need only 11 or 15 good players to win matches for our country. Why it is not happening ?
1. Lack of Professional approach towards the game:
2. Most of the senior officials are concerned about a team, no one is serious about a win.
3. Zonewise selection is an important factor and critria, every zone must keep good 15 players ready to feed bcci for maximum options. If we have 4 zones thats mean total 60 players. Bcci must ensure all these players on payroll. Choose out of this 60 and make one only one good and best team for win only win.
4. Many more points..........

In this country of 110 crore ppl, we have 110 corrupt bureaucrats and cricket officials / selectors. Just find out how many players that have been selected to the Indian team genuinely deserve that. If you have watched the movie "Iqbal" you might have got the flavor of the kind of corruption prevalent in Indian cricket. Even before the selection it's fixed who is going to be selected!

First of all there cannot be any comparison between a game and the population. It is not that India do not have good players to make up a strong team capable of defeating any team in the world. The problem is due to lot of politics and regionalism, right players do not get a chance to come to limelight and to represent India.

It's a interesting question. The BCCI the cricket governing body in our country is not run professionally and mainly is interested in making money.
Cricket should be developed in the country from the grass-root level and opportunities should be given for rural talent to compete with city players.
The BCCI shhould atleast have a pool of 30/40 players chosen and give them the best of the training and facilities in order to get the best results.
Sporting and fast pitches should be prepared through-out the country and it will help our players to get used to play fast bowling.
Selection to the Indian cricket team should be done on current performance and form and not on the basis of past glories. Importance and prominence should be given for fielding and youngsters.
If the BCCI runs the game professionally then we can see and have better results.

there is not competitive fight among 110 crore people for 11 seats in team because all seat are already filled by senior cricketer and hardly 1 or 2 new player get chances in 3 to 4 series
senior batsman neither making runs nor leaving there places and BCCI dose not dare to remove dravid sehwag ganguly dhoni or sachin out of the team
the captain comes in ground not to win game but with the fear that weather got lost
He also don't no the real capacity of players.Every one knows that in17 yrs sachin never batted well in pressure condition in 2nd inning and dravid is better than him in these circumstances
but captain bat at 5th position is really bad
this is the major cause of early departure of ind and pak from the world-cup

Look, first of all in this counrty has lots of corruption, and there is lots of corruption in Cricket as well. First of all, BCCI don't try hard enough to find good and new players for the team. Like , Shewag he only played one good match, but yet he was there in the whole World Cup. But, there is a new cricket cleb now SA, I think now they will do a better job for the Indian team. But the main problems are they don't bring new players to the team, players are too busy in advertising that training.

well if you are talking about total population of india i.e 110 crores..then half of them are women. that makes about 55 crores. ok so now 55 crores men are there in our country. india hasn't developed yet and are still developing. this country is full of corruption, match fixing stuffs, bribing and all. on that they decide the players on the basis of their richness, style, good looks. what about their playing? we need to develop a lot. i am truely inspired by australia, new zealand, sri lanka and many countries which are small and have achieved a lot.

Do not exaggerate.
SEE Out of 110 crores 55 crores are females.
35 crores are underage / overage
19.9 crores are armchair critics like U and Me.
so we have at the most 10 lakhs candidates to chose from

See every country has the same no of players and you cannot think that only India should win always, of course the performance of the players this time was bad.
Remember in the last world cup, South africa didnot crossed the first stage, and giants WI, in the last two world cup drowned in the first round itself.
