MY new com i am making for 3DS max Modeling and other stuff.

ASUS P5L-VM 1394 motherboard XFX Geforce 7900GS 256mb (256-bit) DDR3
3.5 inch Seagate 120 GB 7200 rpm (SATA 3 Gb/s) Sony Combo Drive DVD-DL DRU-800A
Kingston 1 GB x 4 DDR-2 RAM 667mhz PC5300

IS A 550 WATT PSU ENOUGH FOR IT??? OF SHOUD I GET MORE..

550 ought to cover it but it's getting close in my opinion, but why the 7900 GS I'd go 8800.

I mean your putting in the QX6700, 200.00 more on the video card should be possible just for the GTS

The EVGA GeForce 8800 GTX KO ACS³ Edition only requires a 450 watt min so the 850 watt remark was bogus. Granted more power is better than not enough.

wel! wel! wel! if your planning to use maya or 3dS in it. i suggest that you get a 8800GTS or 8800GTX intead of the 7900GS. and as far as the PSU goes, get a 850WATT PSU if not less, as the 8800 series card demand atleast that much. or else if u stick with the 7900GS, get a 600Watt PSU

550 looks good for your setup. I'd suggest a bigger HD though, lol.

550 should be enough, but if you are spending that much on a system, I would go for something bigger.

550W with beefy dual +12V rail (at least 35 Amps total) should be fine.
