theyre all different and offer different things to their respective teams. however, taking away their team mates and lookin into the players themselves id say the following...

steve nash....makes his team mates better players. is unselfish, has great court awareness, can shoot the ball efficiently from all over the floor. a clutch player. lacks defensive awareness.

jason terry...a threat from all areas, can make the defensive play and take the steal, can play both guard positions although is more suited at the shooter role. can make the clutch baskets. not the pass first player

jason kidd....solid defensive player. makes his team mates better players, all round performer, triple double threat, strong. lacks a reliable shot

in breaking it down like this, you can see that all players have their goods and their bads. however id first eliminate Terry based on the fact that he is a better player as a shooting guard and not a point guard. he has also yet to take a team and lead them by making them better then what they were before he was there. the hawks struggled with him there, and in dallas he came in with an already strong team. so i eliminate terry from the discussion

both nash and kidd have proven that they can make those around thm better players. both have given their repsective franchises a make over with its new found success since the players arrived there. nash is the better offensive player, kidd the better defensive player, kidd the better all round player, and nash the better clutch player. separating these two isnt as easy when u look at their numbers.

however, id have to say nash. and it comes down to 3 letters....M-V-P.....for which he has won it twice and in contention again. kidd never won, but was in contention both years the nets made the finals.

Why, Mr. Back2Back MVP Steve Nash of course is the Better Point guard out of the 3. Jason Terry and Jason Kidd aren't even on the same Level.

In their primes, it's got to be Jason Kidd. Those who choose Nash will surely argue about the latter's back-to-back MVP's. Well, it's unfortunate that the prime Jason Kidd played in the era of great point guards such as Stockton, Payton, Mark Jackson and even Penny Hardaway. Nash has no competition at that position today. Jason Terry, sorry to say, is not in the league of Nash and Kidd.

Jason Kidd hands down.....Nash's teams have been loaded with talent and he hasn't been doing it since he joined the league the way Kidd has. Terry shouldn't even be in this conversation. Kidd has been doing it since his rookie year with the Mavericks. Who do you think Nash learned it from? Jason Kidd!!! Nash was drafted by Phoenix and played behind Kidd his first two years in the league. I'm betting that almost everyone saying Nash didn't watch much basketball when Kidd first came into the league or they are too young to remember. The Mavericks weren't that good back then at all and he still put up good #'s. Kidd all the way

I'd say this is a toss-up between Nash and Kidd. JT is a good PG but he shoots first before he passes. I won't say that Terry is a bad player but definitely he is not in the same league as Kidd and Nash. Kidd is a legen with all his triple doubles. He does lack though a decent outside shot. Nash is more consistent and methodical and he makes people around him better. He is deserving of the two (and counting) MVP's bestowed on him. But for overall value, I'd go for Kidd. The triple doubles he does frequently just goes to show the impact he has on the game. He also rebounds very well for a PG and is strong. Your PG does not need to score a bunch of points to be measured for greatness. All it takes are the intangibles and the all-around game.

JAson Kidd has better ladership skills, Steve Nash has better passing skills. Both qualities are required in being a good point guard. Jason Kidd, in my opinion, is more versatile. But in terms of being the better PG, Steve is doing the better job. As for Terry, he's not really as good in being a PG.But in compliment to him, he's fast and can play defense.

I think like me you are a Dallas Mavericks fan and want to know if we will get the championship this year with Jason Terry. Yes bro we will do it. And it will be funny that we did it with Terry and not with Kidd or Nash so there you go. Kidd and Nash were great and wish they never left but teamwork can overcome guys leaving like that. Go Mavericks!!!

Kidd is a extra finished participant. He does each little thing and positively performs protection. Nash would not even attempt to gaurd his guy. Nash performs with Amare, Shawn Marion, Boris Diaw, Lehandro Barbosa, Raja Bell, and so on. Nash performs with Carter and Jefferson. Nash has a extra appropriate suppporting solid. Nash gets extra assists by using equipment the Suns play in. Thay play in a run and gun form Nash gets many, many, oppurtunities for assists and photos. The Nets additionally play in a slower equipment, giving Kidd much less opportunities for stats, yet Kidd nonetheless places up 15, 8, 10 a game. although, Kidd making it to the finals two times strengthen into very deceptive. The East strengthen into incredibly unfavourable those years. Nash has had to deal with the Spurs, the Mavs, and different large communities. Kidd is barely a million inch taller than Nash, yet his all-around game makes him a extra appropriate participant. Kidd.

Steve Nash is the best point guard in the game. He has won the MVP 2 times in a row, but that doesn't define what he does. He is a gamebreaker, has monster assist stats, and makes everyone on the floor better.

Between the three of them ? I'd have to say Jason Kidd. Someone else said this but it's true. Kidd played during an era of fabulous point guards, and held his own against all of them.
