I've heard really bad stories about the apple accessories (keys sticking and scroll balls locking after 2 or 3 months) and would like to know what better options are out there.
I'm also not looking to spend that much. Just ones that work and don't break so quickly...

Any "USB keyboard and mouse" will work on a Mac.
Some keys will be different but they are listed in the Help files or on the web.
e.g. The Windows key = the Mac Command key, etc.

I recommend Logitech MX5 or mid-range to high-end keyboard of the same brand. I use the G15 keyboard and am getting yet to be delivered G7 mouse.
