There are many edible flowers. Try pansies, marigolds, violets, lavender, geraniums, roses, etc, these are the most common. Just make sure to not use chemicals on them and wash them well, before eating them.

There are many flower petals that can be eaten. There are even recipes for pizza with flower petals sprinkled like cheese all over. I have friends who have tried it, and it's actually rather tasty. You can also add flower petals into cocktails or make it float on your tea (popular in asia). There are also curry recipes that includes flower petals. Eating flower petals is not only nutritious, they also contain properties that purifies the blood and detoxifies the body.

Dandelions, rose, hibiscus, jasmine, sunflower, violet are some flowers that can be eaten

Ignoring for a moment the definition of 'flower' - nasturtiums can be good in salad (if you like rocket and those slightly sour/strong/almost smoky tastes); roses in many forms - candied rose petals, rose petal jam (delicious!) and you can also steep clear honey with rose petals; lavender of course (the best ice cream I ever had was a lavender ice cream from Dean and Deluca's in DC as a birthday treat; marigold petals (in much the same way as nasturtiums, i.e. small additions to spike up a salad); camomile - in tea, but other uses as well: for example if you add a camomile teabag to a cauliflower cream soup it adds a certain je ne sais quois. Will that do for starters?

Orchids, nasturtiums, onion flowers, courgettes flowers (in a tempura batter), chamomile infused and under the effect of alcohol as a tisane. a number of your solutions seem to be slightly risky. Dandelion leaves in salad, particular - yet flowers? same is going for nettles - only use the greater youthful leaves.
