He was my former best friends ex-boyfriend and he drove me to her wedding. I got drunk and asked him out on a date. Turned out she wasn't happy about it and never spoke to either of us again,but we have been together for 25 years.

I agree that this doesn't have anything to do with the "Dining Out" and I didn't understand the question at first.
But seeing as how others responded with how they first met their loved one.....I met mine at a church. We're happily married now!

in my dreams i always saw this child with me (a girl) the man was always a shadow even when i was with someone and when i broke up with i violent boyfriend i had the dream again there was this man standing with her. A week later i was to go out with friends i did not want to but they kept prodding for me to go so i thought what the heck and went, their i meet the man in my dream i was shoked and he has turned out to be everything ive been looking for and we are planning a child together
