First of all, you never mentioned your age, so I'm not sure if your period is supposed to be regular already.

When I was much younger, my period were rather irregular and so my cramps were irregular too.

Like every other columnist, I would suggest that you visit a doctor.

Do you have strange discharge or odour? If it is just a case of slight cramps, it could probably mean nothing, especially if you are rather young. Things will get better as you age. Don't worry too much.

But to be on the safe side, a visit to the doctor would be recommended.

Are you sure it wasn't just indigestion or gas cramps?

If you are worried about your reproductive organs, see a doctor. A very heavy period that was 3 weeks late, would make me wonder if I was having a miscarriage. You can check to see that you're okay with your doctor. You probably are.

This needs to be evaluated by your dr to try and figure out what could be going on. They can help you try to figure out what could be the problem.
