Having a higher testosterone level might be one factor, but it does not give an excuse to cheat. A survey shows two thirds of married men cheat, and more than fifty percent of marriages end in divorce.

That may be true but it is still no excuse for cheating! I personally think they are either selfish, or looking for a woman to make them feel like they are needed. Cheating is a choice and a lack of commitment to your marriage vows and no matter what excuse a man gives, it just doesn't fly with me. If a man is miserable at home he should either get counseling or get divorced if he still wants to act single. Don't get me wrong, I love women and when I was single I dated a lot, but when I found the right woman and made that commitment, I meant what I said and am loyal and faithful to her.

I strongly disagree. My ex cheated on me. (one of the reasons why I kicked him out.) His testosterone was level zilch. The APA is using that as an excuse.

I don't agree.. simply because infidelity is not a male only issue... studies have proven that more and more women are having affairs then ever before...

Cheating on ones spouse or significant other.. is not due to hormones.. it's due to how one feels about themselves... their relationship ... etc...

A higher sex drive is NOT the cause.. ANYONE that says an affair is about the sex is fooling them selves and attempting to fool everyone else!

Could be true, but what does that have to do with cheating? And that makes it acceptable?
THINK NOT!
