I think what you do is fine you are not hurting anyone and it makes you happy. Just be yourself and whatever makes you happy do it as long as it don't cause anyone else harm.

I am always a bit cautious when dealing with this particular issue. I have been a TV all my life. All my family and most of my friends know about me, I don't shout if from the roof tops but I don't hide it either and I have never had a problem. If there are people who, as I think you mean, castigate you I have never met any such people. I wonder if it is your attitude to the situation that triggers that sort of reaction. Maybe you have been unlucky enough to know some people who have a problem with transvestism but I do know some transvestites who are so "in your face" with it that they drive away any support you may feel for them. I am not saying this is your problem but I think it is worth analysing your attitude to your relationships and see if there is some aspect of that that could be improved

Human beings judge things by what they have seen in past. Human society follows ethics that are in majority and call them right. This is the attitude of humans that make life of people like you a bit difficult. But yes there is nothing wrong with it, by the time you are not hurting others. This matter is actually from the domain of relative moralism and wht is right for you may not be right for others. Since you can not change the world (assumption) try not to be against majority and avoid clashes, it's good for you only. And when you are in your own world, just be yourself. Listening to others, about being public, since you are not wrong and all those stuff will bring problem to you only, and none of others will be there to help you. I know that you know what you have to do.

I've never been able to figure out why some people have a problem with it. It's just clothes and make-up. What's the big deal? It's so stupid to me that people think it's "sick" or "wrong". Who cares what kind of clothing other people like to wear? There's also a big double standard here. I could put on a pair of my husband's jeans, one of his flannel button shirts and a pair of men's boots and go out and nobody would say much of anything. But if my husband put on some of my make-up, one of my dresses and high heels there would be some kind of uproar. It's stupid.

People can be hostile towards things that they don't understand but don't let it get to you. If they've got nothing better to do than criticise others for simply how they dress then it just goes to show the pathetic boring and lives they must lead.
They're the ones with the problem. Enjoy life how YOU want to.

Like you, I like to dress up in womens clothes, and I don't understand why some people have against men doing that? I just think that some are narrow minded, and never have expereinced wear female clothes.

Nothing is wrong with it...

Although... what does the transexual community do to increase awareness?... very little...

TOlleration of gay people is starting to really kick in... but transvestites just dont convey themselves very well...

I mean the stereotype is of the Fat single 40 year old sitting in his mothers best dress...

Absolutely nothing Love! I'ts much less offensive that smoking, drinking or being violent, (or a combination of those).
Also, you're not wearing womens' clothes; you're wearing YOUR clothes, that you feel comfortable in.
If it feels good, do it!

hey
theres nothing wrond with this. no-one made make-up especially for girls its just girls prefer it. Who said certain clothes were for different sexes? they just label clothes womens wear and men wear because most people prefer that style. Dont let anyone stop you because if thats the way you are comfortable just be yourself

Keep doing what makes you happy -the people who put you down and mock you for doing this are usually deeply unhappy with their own lives and would rather concentrate on bringing someone else down rather than sorting out their own lives!

Good luck xx

My friend,
You should know by now that your lifestyle choice is not popular with everyone. The people that hassle you are the same ones that are always trying to impose what is right for them onto everyone else. You will have to deal with this for the rest of your life.
Be proud that you know who you are, and that you aren't afraid to be up front with that.
