Yes it's true. Armstrong & Aldrin were the first, followed by five other expeditions - 10 men who walked on the Moon.
If they didn't go to the Moon, then there were about 400,000 people working in NASA who would have had to keep quiet, plus however millions of Russians. It was the space race, remember - the Russians were keeping a very close eye on the Americans and had there been any nonsense, would soon have let the rest of us know about it.
Yes, I do believe they went.

You don´t think so huh? Well at least you´re thinking. Not your fault your no good at it...
Neil Armstrong was the first human to set his foot on the moon. If you do a little more thinking you would realize that the only way NASA could fake the landing would be if the US and the USSR would cooperate, at the height of the cold war, to make the US look like the worlds supreme technological superpower.
The soviet union had an unmanned probe right on Apollo 11s tail. The soviets and the US actually exchanged telemetry data to make sure the two crafts didn´t collide. So if Apollo 11 hadn´t been where NASA said it was the soviets would have known. And they would have cried foul if they had detected anything suspicious.
As for the documentary you saw: I saw a funny one about cars having minds of their own and that car crashes are actuall part of an international car conspiracy to kill all humans. They are called MOCKUMENTARIES! It is a joke and you´ve been had.

Not only did the US send Armstrong and Aldrin to the Moon, but they went 5 more times after that. Were they all hoaxes as well? What about Apollo 13? Did they just pretend to have a near disaster while they were pretending to go to the moon?
You can believe whatever "documentary" you like, but the fact is, they went to the moon, I watched it on TV, and no amount of rehashing of old "where are the stars?", or "too many light sources", or "the flag is fluttering in the breeze" is going to convince me otherwise. All these pieces of "evidence" have been proved false so many times that it is laughable that people are not embarrassed to keep mentioning them.
They went, they came back.
It is ignorance to think otherwise, sorry.

The only fraud going on is that so called documentary. The idea that the Moon landings were faked originally comes from people who think the Earth is flat and the whole space program is fake! All the reasons for believing the landings were fake given in that film are wrong, being a combination of bad science and utter stupidity.
