2-1/2x=(16-x)/(-4)=x/4-4
x/4+(1/2x)-6=0
(x^2)-24x+2=0
x=12+((24^2)-8)/2 and x=12-((24^2)-8)/2
you do the arithmetics =)
BASED in your other questions i think that you wrote wrong the problem, like it is written right now this is the solution, so please check it out and rewritten it if its necessary.

6-8+2x+2 = 22
-2+3x = 22
3x = 24
x =8

6 - 4 ( 2 - 1/2x ) +x = 22
2 ( 2 - 1/2x ) + x = 22
( 4 - x ) + x = 22
4 - 2x = 22
-2x = 22 - 4
x = - 18/ 2
x = -9
