Perhaps in this country, yes people are getting poorer but there are not less middle class jobs in the world today then there were 50 years. Quite the opposite. Need I remind you that just under 100 years ago, back in 1910, it was the other way around and 95% of people owned their own business; people would look at you funny if you were employed. (Companies like Ford and the massive petroleum monolopolies changed everything). So it the choice of the citizen whether to spend their time working at a job or finding their next opportunity.
