-The top 5% of the income bracket controls 95% of the wealth (generated by the other 95% of people). Those in the middle and poor classes are stuck in what is known as the rat race, whereby the money drawn out of them to pay the rich class is used to leverage further investments and continually fuel higher income strategies.

- Basically, the idea is that with a job, I think it was in 1943 that the U.S. penalized all workers by taxing their earning under the Currency Tax Payment Act. The more an employee works the more he is taxed untill he finally reaches a plateua. Now in 1973, the government took the dollar off the gold standard and basically turned it into a currency. That means that the value of the dollar will decrease by 60% over a 40 year period. I'm sure you know what the effects of inflation are. Meanwhile, minimun wage hardly keeps pace. Finally, the 1986 Tax Reform Act severely restricted tax benfits for the both the upper middle class and the working poor. To keep long story short, the truly rich bypass all of that. They are skilled enough to make investments that generate money faster than it looses it's value, real estate being the best example becuase of it's residual income. Owning your own business will also open up a world of tax benefits for yourself, such as covering transportation costs, phone calls and even dinning expenses. The lower classes have none of that and are stuck to exchanging their lives for ever smaller chunks of change.

- Another way to look at it, is that it's not so much that the poor are getting poorer, but there are not enough jobs to keep up with the growing population. I suppose you could include outsourcing and things like that...which only means that foreigners are getting richer, if ever so slightly. Perhaps in this country, yes people are getting poorer but there are not less middle class jobs in the world today then there were 50 years. Quite the opposite. Need I remind you that just under 100 years ago, back in 1910, it was the other way around and 95% of people owned their own business; people would look at you funny if you were employed. (Companies like Ford and the massive petroleum monolopolies changed everything). So it the choice of the citizen whether to spend their time working at a job or finding their next opportunity.

because it's true the rich have control over the determining factors in economics and tax the the poor for the profits they extract . When was the last time you saw a legislator or the like that control the system that were poor or actually had the have nots interest truly in mind ....you haven't and you won't . the rule is power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely! Even when the poor in the most rare occasion become rich they forget the the poor and act against the poor man's interest . for instance as the economy increases the average income of the poor goes up five times from now since 1970 as the higher income bracket increases at huge rates for they started at a higher base to begin with look at the minimal increase allotted to the poor what $4.50 an hour to Five something . statistics prove the statement to be true .minimum wages for the poor never get even close to the increases that go to the rich .And that's just part of it the capitalistic system is set up with incentives that preimarily benefit the rich for it takes capital to gain in a buy and sell market . the poor don't qualify or hae to pay much higher rates for they lack the collateral this is the tip of the iceberg .
if you have ever wodered the real reason why we have wars it's economic . the rich have huge money invested in weapons and they require war to make good their profits from this as well as the other businesses like Haleberton who gets the payoff for sundry services rendered. I no expert but there is more to find if you research it or talk to those in a position to tell if they are willing to speak . Or ask a liberal economics professor at one of the college campuses.

That is the way society is. Tax perks for the rich, and debt for the poor. The governments make it so easy for poor people to get themselves into more and more debt, some are even passing debt down generations, debt that is controlled, and owned by rich people.
