I'm currently dealing with a Leo and I'm an Aquarius

I find communication to be very difficult, not b/c he doesn't talk b/c he does but not about relationship stuff, its too heavy and he doesn't want to define us, which is hard for an Aqua b/c we need reassurance, he's made it known that we are together but sometimes I need to know more to feel safe and secure.

he's more demonstrative in his actions and I'm more mental so our signals cross alot. I demonstrate my love but I also need that verbal communication also and I don't always get that.

When were together he gets on my nerves but I love it lol!!

Leo test Aqua's alot, this is there way of gauging if they want to be with us.

Yes it can work but it will take sooooooooo much patience on Aqua's part...being that we are fixed in nature the Aqua will find him/herself constantly having to humble themselves and stepping back from any given situation that may cause conflict.

I noticed that my strength in conversation was overpowering my leo so you must pay attention to whats being demonstrated on a physical level instead of a mental level.

Leos will not give Aqua the reassurance she will need to feel safe and Aqua's long to feel safe, so if the Aqua isn't emotionally secure it will be a very difficult union.

Leos will not be tamed but they enjoy the mental stimulation Aqua's can provide, I notice games being played and I will go along until I'm sick of it and will retreat into my own little world until he calms down or vice versa.

It can be long term but it will be at the will of the Aqua, it will depend on how much the Aqua is willing to bend and give to stay in the relationship, if you can gain the upper hand early on then it can be an easy union especially if he is more into you than you are into him but if the Aqua falls hard first then you will find leo a bit aloof and emotionally unavailable but yet still smittened and ready to be involved.

there is no changing a leo and I'm not just saying that, you may be able to alter behavior by EXAMPLE but not by words, words will only make Leo mad or make leo withdraw from the relationship, especially if their is criticism involved or making the leo feel caged or boxed in.

This union can be wonderful but it will take alot of patience...

Being opposites on the wheel brings many challenges as does the fact that both signs are fixed. Leo is fixed fire and Aquarius is fixed air.
