i am just curious about this just because i think it's kind of funny..
ok when my x husband is over to visit his daughter and were talking he will touch my hand or my leg while he is talking, like "hey" (touch hand) "whats the blah blah blah".
if he knows i loathe his very existance why would he do that?

That's cause he's trying to get a reaction out of you to see where you stand on this. Don't play into it. It will only stroke his ego if he thinks he still has any effect on you.

Has he always been a touchy-feely person? If so, then maybe that's just his way. I think you should take his hand and place it back on his own thigh, he'll get the hint. If he keeps doing it, then don't sit next to him or tell him you don't want his hands all over you. But still try to be civil for the sake of your child.

He wants to show that despite not being able to 'work things out', mummy and daddy still love their little girl very much and will cooperate to ensure that she isn't upset about the messy divorce.

P.S. He probably hasn't touched a woman in months and it turns him on.

Faulty memory...

Wanting sex, remembering only the better times, and forgetting much of whatever made you two ex-spouses.

I mean, honestly, you two have a kid, you had to be positively intimate at least for a while.

Because you are letting him, which gives him power over the situation and you.
Next time he touches you, tell him to leave. When he asks you why, tell him he can come back when he has learned to respect your boundaries.

dont sit near him. have him do his visits someplace else instead of in your home. if you loathed him...he should be repulsive to you instead of his actions being funny. perhaps its not so loathsome? peace
