Should "mummified" practise in our modern day?

What do you think? What's your opinion? And why?

I think we should practice it. In the future they can dig us up [ once all our history is lost] and learn about us.

It's all up to the wishes of the deceased. There is no reason not to mummify now. Current embalming practices are not all that far from it. There is at least one company which does mummify customers after their demise.

I don't see a reason to stop the practice. It is not harming anyone, and is making many or at least a few folks happy.
